ABS Sales App – Smarter Sales, Right Where You Are
The ABS Sales App is designed to support sales representatives during customer visits by enabling real-time order creation and stock visibility — all from a single, intuitive platform.
With the ability to instantly create sales orders and order lines, reps can provide quick, accurate service on-site. Once an order is placed, a confirmation can be printed directly from the app, offering customers immediate documentation.
Behind the scenes, all order information is seamlessly transferred to ABS via the ABS Connect software, allowing sales reps to book orders directly into the system — no back-office input needed.
Built with the same robust technology as the IPE (Inventory, Processing, Expedition) apps, the ABS Sales App ensures a consistent and reliable user experience.
The app is now available for testing in your environment, if you’re running ABS version 14.10 or higher. To get started, please contact our Service Desk, your consultant, or a member of our Sales team — they’ll be happy to assist you in setting up your test environment.
A future update will introduce a powerful dashboard with insights into each customer’s historical sales.
ABS Breeding – Crossing matrix
To streamline and better visualize the process of creating crosses, we’ve developed a new tool: the crossing matrix. In this article, we show you this new feature in ABS Breeding.
Accessing the Crossing Matrix
There are several ways to access the crossing matrix, but for your longer term planning it is best to start with setting up a breeding program. By assigning plants or layouts as fathers and/or mothers within the program, you can instantly generate the crossing matrix.
Workflow
Once the grid is visible, you can display additional plant details beneath each name. These can be selected from a list and will be saved as your default view.
To select crossings, click and drag across the grid. You can also use the checkboxes on row or column headers to select all crossings for a specific mother or father. A counter keeps track of your selections.
When you’re ready, a single button lets you generate the selected crossings.

Within the grid, several icons exist to provide additional information on the potential crossing. An overview of icons is given here:

This tool enhances visualization and streamlines the process of creating numerous crossings from a relatively small set of plants.
